Introducing AskYourPDF - a powerful plugin designed to expedite the extraction of information from PDF documents. With AskYourPDF, you can easily access and analyze the content of your PDFs, making it effortless to find answers and retrieve specific details. Whether you need to search for specific information or perform in-depth analysis, AskYourPDF has got you covered.

To get started, simply provide a URL link to a PDF or a document ID (doc_id). AskYourPDF will validate the URL and download the PDF, storing its content in a vector database. If you already have a doc_id, you can directly retrieve the document from the database. Once the PDF is stored, AskYourPDF scans through the documents to find answers to your queries or retrieve specific details.

However, in case of any errors while querying the API, AskYourPDF provides an alternative solution. You can download your document and manually upload it to AskYourPDF Upload. After the upload is complete, copy the resulting doc_id and paste it back into the chat for further interaction.

AskYourPDF is particularly useful when you have questions related to the content within a PDF document. When providing answers, the plugin also specifies the page number (highlighted in bold) where the relevant information was found. Remember, a valid URL is essential for successful queries. Failure to validate the URL may result in errors or unsuccessful queries.

Perform Query

AskYourPDF allows you to perform queries on your downloaded PDFs. Use the following example prompt to perform a query:

1. "Find [query] in the PDF with doc_id [doc_id]"

Remember to replace [URL] with the actual URL of the PDF and [doc_id] with the document ID obtained after downloading the PDF. With AskYourPDF, you can effortlessly extract information from your PDFs and find answers to your queries.
